2002 SCCA National Champion Mustang road race and autocross car!
This
car is based on a 1991 Ford Mustang tub, very competitive in both
road racing and solo. It is powered by a 310 c.i. small block, 13:1
c.r., CNC AFR aluminum heads, Crower solid roller cam, complete
Crower valve-train, titanium retainers, Ported Victor Jr. intake,
Barry Grand Demon road race carburetor, all MSD ignition ( coil,
box, billet distributor ) full length coated headers, crossover,
choice of open and muffled exhaust, 3 disc clutch, 5 speed transmission,
9" full floater rear with Gleason LSD, spare 3 rd member with
alternate gear choice. The suspension is strut in the front, 3 link
in the rear; all custom made, very adjustable, chrome moly arms,
Aurora heims, tubular sway bar, custom spindles, Advanced Design
double adjustable shocks and struts, very adjustable and much lower
than any common tub car. Brakes are AP Racing calipers front and
rear, 2 piece rotors on custom hats in the front and drive plates
in the rear, Tilton pedals and master cylinders, dash brake bias.
Car comes with PFC and Ferodo brake pads in various compounds front
and rear. Gauges are Auto Meter ultra light. Other features include
an aluminum ATL fuel cell, Kirkey road race seat, Sparco wheel and
q.r. Ron Davis rad, Complete Custom 12" wide front and rear
wheels, composite hood, trunk and fenders. The car weights 2300
lbs without ballast. It is very fast, reliable and tunable car.
Everything is fresh with no more than 3 hours running time. Regret
letting it go, but have other commitments and thus no time or room
for it. Open to all reasonable offers. Just the parts list will
make it worthwhile for someone building a car of their own..
